Old Fashioned Theology

Old Fashioned Theology

by

Old Fashioned Theology is a new podcast brought to you by Daniel Carpenter and Ryan Boyd. On Old Fashioned Theology we explore gospel themes while enjoying our ‘pour choice of the week’. Our primary desire is to help our listeners process the gospel as well as its implications for our lives. The gospel is more than merely a means to salvation—it’s a way of life. We therefore want to help ourselves and listeners alike think through and implement the gospel in our daily rhythms by talking about how it not only impacts but totally transforms all aspects of our lives, from the way we think about theology proper like justification and glory to more ‘everyday’ topics like community and work. Our secondary desire is to share with you a bit of our fondness for alcohol, so we also incorporate our trademark ‘pour choice of the week’ in which we pour a glass of whiskey, bourbon, beer, etc., and briefly discuss it’s history, flavor, and more before diving into our gospel theme of the week. When we first started talking about this podcast, we knew we wanted it to feel like a casual conversation among friends—because that’s exactly what we are, friends. And since we’d love to invite you into this conversation as well, go ahead and pour yourself a drink, sit back, and enjoy Old Fashioned Theology. https://linktr.ee/oldfashionedtheology
