The Fat and Fit Dietitian-to-be’s Podcast
by Teresa Silvas
December 3, 2020 5:08 pm
This podcast explores what it means to be in a larger body while being in the dietetic field. Hosted by Teresa Silvas, RD to be, who is in her last year of her Master’s of Dietetics and approaching her dietetic internship in the Summer of 2021. Join Teresa as she describes her personal experiences with weight stigmatization both internal and external as she navigates becoming a Registered Dietitian and explores topics such as Health at Every Size (HAES), Intuitive Eating, exercising in a larger body, and being a fat but fit athlete. This podcast will hopefully grow, and Teresa hopes to bring on guest speakers to share their experiences as well as to educate herself and her audience about non-diet and weight inclusive dietetics and sports and exercise nutrition for those in larger bodies. Thank you for listening and she hopes you enjoy!
