Americans Leaning In

This is one person’s bipartisan search for understanding and common ground regarding aspects of American identity outside of political affiliation. Here, there may be points of discomfort as differences arise, but I am asking interviewees and listeners alike to “lean in”…to engage and remain open to new perspectives. Over the next several months, I’ll be approaching Americans from all walks of life, different political orientations, genders, religions, career paths, cultural backgrounds, and I’ll be asking them questions about their identity as an American and then sharing about it here.
