You got a degree in music. Now what? Most performers are released into the world with the idea that the only thing they are qualified to do is perform on their instrument. But what if something happens that doesn’t allow you to perform? What if you get injured? Or, what if, after putting in all of that time and effort you just realize that this isn’t what you want to do with your life? Never fear, you aren’t alone. You have options! Remember, being creative is supposed to help you think outside of the box, not trap you inside one. On the Take Creative Measures Podcast I will be interviewing musicians who have, for whatever reason, made changes to the way they perform and teach. Some of them have found a way to augment their performing careers, others have made small changes in order to make their careers more lucrative and fulfilling, while others have changed careers entirely. There are options out there for you. You just need to take Creative Measures.
