
Discovery Day: Elgar

As part of the London Symphony Orchestra’s Discovery Day on Sir Edward Elagr, animateur David Owen Norris offers insight into Elgar’s compositional methods as well as the events and people who are thought to have inspired some of Elgar’s most significant works including the Cello Concerto and the Enigma Variations. David Owen Norris is then joined by first violinist Laurent Quénelle for a performance of Elgar’s Salut D’amour.
