A Long Road Home is a series of real-world stories about the people who work in the on-demand economy. If you’re anything like me, you probably use your phone on a daily basis to get help from people you’ve never met before through services like lyft, uber, instacart, and rinse. These types of businesses make it easy to get help while simultaneously increasing our interactions with strangers every day.
