Bringing up domestic violence and sexual assault in conversation usually leads to awkward silence – but not here. Hosts Ally, Shawn, and Amanda are on a mission to spark dialogue and change culture. Each episode will explore topics that affect violence, gender roles, and social norms in America.

Sexual assault impacts all communities, but there are differences that each community faces as well. This week we sit down with Dr. Lisa Smith to discuss how sexual assault is treated in the black community as well as the barriers that black victims might face.
