In light of the recent discussions within the Latinx community regarding Black Lives Matter, @destinythinks & @monicaconnects teamed up with @mismodest to have a candid conversation about race, our role as Latinas in the Black Lives Matter movement and beyond, and about the ways our immigrant experiences intersect with those of Black Americans in this country. Together we explore our Blackness, get a history lesson (read: gems) by @mismodest, and provide tangible tips for you to be a part of the solution rather than a perpetuant of the problem.
