Dying to Know

Dying to Know

by

Dying to Know was created to explore and normalize conversations around the struggles of life and death. As a preacher’s kid I witnessed from a young age people going through some of the most significant moments of life, which included death. I sensed a connection around the gravity and beauty that is held between the joyful and sorrowful aspects of life. Once I became a chaplain I began to understand the importance and challenge of living well, and it’s connection to one’s ability to die well. I hope the conversations, and stories shared in this podcast inspire thoughts and conversations in your own life. Helping you to be vulnerable and open in the shared struggles that we all face at some point, if we haven’t already. Because from what I have seen, to be able to do so enriches our lives in such a way that we can live fully and authentically, which then allows us to face the challenges of living and dying with courage, acceptance and connection. I hope this podcast can be informative, but more than that, I hope it can be a companion to you wherever you are on life’s journey. Episodes will include stories from a variety of people around their acceptance and peace, caregiving, anger and fear, loss and coping skills, dementia, cancer, or chronic illness, taking care of logistics, trauma, suicide, miscarriages and abortion, wellness, forgiveness, and of course the multitude of topics that arise when life and death are discussed.
