The book, the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam, being read in this podcast, is also called the Bhāgavata Purāṇa. It was written by the Vedic sage Śrī Kṛṣṇa Dvaipāyana Vyāsadeva. It is about the life and times of Śrī Kṛṣṇa (Krishna), the most renown avatar of India, who spoke the Bhagavad Gītā.
