A podcast dedicated to the work of pastors and the ministry of the local church Rev. James F. Cubie is Pastor and Head of Staff at Mattituck Presbyterian Church (PCUSA), on Long Island. James received his MDiv from Union Theological Seminary (NYC) in 2004, where he: learned that he was not a liberal Protestant; discovered the continuing power and relevance of the Reformation; and saw the reality of Protestantism without Reformation (Bonhoeffer). James has a ThM in systematic theology from Princeton Theological Seminary, and is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry at The University of Dubuque Theological Seminary. The focus of the DMin is the promise of Reformed ecclesiology in a post-Christian context. James is also a husband, father, and a recovering prayerless pastor.
