Join Catholic Extension Society as we journey to meet vibrant and transformative communities of faith in the poorest regions of America. We find people who are rich in faith, culture and purpose amid the many struggles and challenges they face. We hope that listeners will walk away with a deeper appreciation of the beauty of the Catholic Church in our country. These communities are supported by Catholic Extension Society, an organization based in Chicago and founded in 1905. Our mission is to work in solidarity with people to build up vibrant and transformative Catholic faith communities among the poor in the poorest regions of America. Our work touches the lives of 15 million Catholics spanning 40 states and territories from Alaska to Puerto Rico.
