The Holy Spirit, speaking through Peter in his epistle said, “…some things are hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.” 2 Peter 3:16
“They’re a good person; why are they sick?” “What about Paul’s thorn?” “Doesn’t God have a purpose for everything that happens?” “What about poor old Job?”
In this series, these questions and others are examined in the light of what the scriptures in question actually said as well as comparing them to other verses with which they must agree. A right understanding of His Word never brings confusion and despair. When we get these questions settled once and for all, our faith will rise up strong, and we’ll be able to receive our healing.
