Hebrews is a book that will thrill us. It’s a book that will challenge us in many ways because of its intricate logic. To understand the thought flow of the author, we have to understand the context, not only of Hebrews, but we have to understand the context of the Old Testament citations. Hebrews is not really an epistle. We don’t know who wrote it. We don’t know to whom he wrote. We don’t know the reason or the occasion for this writing.
