Queer Here, Queer There is the podcast mini-series that delves into everything that is queer space. Bathhouses? We got that. Cruising grounds? We got that too! Never heard of either of these? Don’t worry. Each episode will look at queer spaces through a different lens, starting with a history of Montreal’s queer spaces, this mini-series will investigate a range of topics from the future of queer spaces and how Grindr has changed the queer landscape to why queer people face disproportionate amounts of loneliness. Hosted by Noah Powers, a research fellow at the Samuel Centre for Social Connectedness and recent McGill University graduate, this podcast aims to connect younger queer people to the history and importance of queer spaces in Canada. Queer Here, Queer There would like to acknowledge TakingitGlobal, the Government of Canada, and Canada Services Corps for their support of this podcast through a #RisingYouth community service grant.
