To mark the 50th anniversary of the Gay Liberation Movement in Aotearoa Auckland Pride held a symposium with two panel discussions. Chlöe Swarbrick hosts the first panel with queer elders Ngahuia Te Awekotuku and Fiona Clark as they discuss the significance of this milestone and share stories from the first few years of the movement. The second panel focuses on the future with key queer leaders in the community today facilitated by Elyssia Wilson-Heti former Creative Director at Auckland Pride. The panels were recorded on June 6th 2022 at The Fale Pasifika at The University of Auckland.
