Just Up The Trail

A podcast about hiking, pointing at clouds and listening. It used to be about taking my kids on mad adventures and teaching them to be good stewards of the outdoors. We still do that, we just don’t share it all anymore…that s***’s just for us! After being a poorly boy for a couple of years my relationship with the wild places has changed and I’m trying to reconnect with the outdoors by simply sitting in it and listening. This podcast is now the place to share field recordings and found sounds from the places in which I seek adventure, joy, solace and connection. The parks, beaches, forests and moors of the UK and sometimes a little further afield. The goal is to produce an immersive audio representation of a long hiking trail.
