Kelly Goering, Founder of Evolving Smart welcomes you to our storytelling podcast. The stories in our series will be full of resilience, commitment, collaboration, civility, survival, creativity, passion, and somewhat of a good time!
Dr. Colin Shearn, currently an Assistant Professor of research in the Department of Pediatrics, Pediatric Hepatology, Gastroenterology, and Nutrition, at the University of Colorado School of Medicine on the Anschutz Medical Campus. Colin’s research is focused on understanding how inflammation impacts the liver during chronic disease. Colin has more than an active academic interest in liver disease. He is a two-time recipient and 23-year survivor of a liver transplant. During our podcast today we will touch on the subject of being a recipient of an organ and how that connection provides the ultimate gift of life.
