Managing Unhealthy Alcohol Use in Clinical Practice

To address these practice gaps in the diagnosis and treatment of the full range of unhealthy alcohol use — from risky use to alcohol use disorder — this three-episode podcast provides education which emphasizes the importance of identifying individuals with AUD so they can be provided with appropriate, proven treatment for this medical disorder, with the goal of retaining and engaging them in continued long-term care. The podcast features clinicians from a number of professions, all of whom work together as a team to manage patients with unhealthy alcohol use.
