More Than Special is for parents, caregivers and professionals to discuss topics relevant to having a child with special needs or helping advocate for an individual who has intellectual or developmental differences. Whether an acquired delay, like a brain injury, or one from birth, like Down syndrome, or one with questionable cause, like autism or ADHD, helping individuals navigate multiple systems with ever changing rules or laws, is difficult. Special Education, Health Insurance, Housing, Stress and Burnout, Injustice and Discrimination are real issues for anyone in the special needs community. Join us for an open conversation about these and many more topics, on the VoiceAmerica Variety Channel.
