We know moms tend to get more done in an hour than the average human, yet are often misunderstood and underappreciated in the workplace. We’re here to shine a light on the working mom experience to help ourselves and others step into and advocate for this superpower! We’re not experts, we’ve just been there – and are still there – kids, clients and all. Join us as we cultivate more joy in working motherhood, at the corner of calm and chaos.
Perfectionism is basically a pressure cooker of stress, right? In Episode 42, we chat with Caralena Peterson, speaker and author of The Effortless Perfection Myth, which dives into how to address the mental health crisis that primarily affects women throughout high school and college, and well into their careers and motherhood too. In this conversation, she gives us some helpful tips on how to talk to our kids (and ourselves) about letting go of perfection and building healthier self-esteem habits.
