Erasing AB-PA

Erasing AB-PA

by

Erasing AB-PA is a forum to speak to professionals from the legal and psychological community along with targeted parents of Attachment Based Parental Alienation (AB-PA) to better understand and cope with AB-PA.

Parental Alienation is when one parent, typically the parent with majority custody, attempts to separate the children from the other parent as punishment for a divorce or separation. These parental alienation techniques include attacking the other parent’s character or lifestyle, ignoring the positive influence the other parent has on the children or endearing themselves to the child in order for the child to choose them over the other parent. Numerous techniques and tools are utilized by the alienating parent.

We plan to use this podcast as a means to bring together those affected by Attachment Based Parental Alienation to bring awareness to the problem. The goal is to change the family court system to recognize that AB-PA exists and is a huge problem that affects millions of children, parents and extended families.
