Welcome to your ultimate pop-culture countdown show, Hi-5! This is truly a podcast for various people of all ages, because everyone has opinions about movies, television, music, sports, and other aspects of pop culture. Remember that time you went to a resturant or bar and listened or even got involved passionately debating your favorite Bruce Springsteen song, most fast paced action movie, or the best Super Bowl with a group of friends? Everyone has done it, and that fun conversation engulfs the people involved! Instead of the tension of debating politics or religion, which usually gets heated, entertainment debates are fun and usually take your mind to a more carefree place. That is our goal with Hi-5 Countdown Show! My co-hosts and I will be counting down the top 5 things of a certain relevant catagory, everything from movies, to music, to sports, to television. We hope it will be a fun listening experience that takes you back to that fun debate you had one night at the party or bar! 15 years ago, the most devastating attacks in our country since the bombing of Pearl Harbor took place on September 11th 2001. These attacks took so many lives, affected numerous families, and sent our country into a time of uncertainty. Everything from schools, to people’s daily routines, to sports, to entertainment was affected. America came to a standstill the days and weeks following the 9/11 attacks. On this special podcast, DJ Seth O and special guest Ryan, a resident of New York, look back at the terrifying day of September 11th and the aftermath of the horrific attacks, from the fear and vulnerability to the patriotism and uniting together the U.S. experienced. It is an important discussion on the anniversary of a day that will never be forgotten, not just for the attacks, but more importantly, for the heroism and bonding together our country did during that day and afterward.
