This Embodied Voice is a podcast hosted by Suzanne Lis, who created the show out of her fascination with the connection between voice and body, especially in singers. Everyone experiences the world through their bodies, but for singers, their instrument IS their body. They are particularly attuned to their physical experience, and so on this podcast, we have honest, intimate conversations about vocal technique and injury, hormonal change, performance anxiety, bodywork and movement, trauma, and much more. By promoting open discussion, we hope to move away from fear and judgement and towards a culture of openness and mutual support.
