Way Out Radio is a widely successful reggae and punk show with music and interviews from guests including Alice Cooper, members of The Wailers, Motorhead, The Smiths, The Selecter and Crass. We’ve also had Hollywood actors on the show playing live and telling their life story and we have loads more great guests lined up for the future. The radio show has been going for 7 years and we’ve broadcast from 14 countries including Jamaica, Japan, Russia, Cambodia, Australia and the US. We discuss classics of the 2Tone era, ’77 punk and early reggae tunes alongside current affairs and new music. King Kurt are a legendary 80s psychobilly and punk band. They formed in ’81 and Smeg took over vocals from ’82. They had a chart hit with Destination Zululand which saw them go on Top Of The Pops and tour the UK and Europe. They’ve been signed to Stiff Records and Polydor and also had a string of hits in the indie chart.

They are infamous for their nutty gigs where there’d be food fights, nudity, baked beans and shaving foam everywhere, fans having their heads shaved and people being strapped to a wheel of misfortune onstage.
