Dave Ambrose, legendary 60s Bassist, tells of his various experiences with top 60s rock bands

by

Dave Ambrose is a well known 60s musician who played bass on many seminar bands, including with Ray Davis of the Kinks ( before the Kinks) Shotgun Express- the early Fleetwood Mac and Rod Stewart, and with Peter Green in particular, Cat Stevens, then onto record with Brian Auger, Julie Driscoll and the ‘Trinity ‘ (Wheels on Fire!) after which he met Arthur Brown and his Kingdom come- here is his story of that phase as they wrote and recorded the whacky ‘Galactic Zoo Dossier’ album, and an addendum on Robert Fripp’s King Crimson and a ‘Warlock’. Crazy times driven by crazy philosophies the like
