The History of Film

The History of Film

by

An international narrative history of film from its origins to right now. Each episode covers movies, movements, film makers, technology, culture and politics, technique, and more.

Just a quick announcement about a technical issue with Episode 13, “Edwin S. Porter and the Revolution of the Shot.” Its all fixed now, so you can enjoy Porter and the Great Train Robbery without any strange goings on in the show.
I would actually prefer not to put this in the podcast feed for the show, but I don’t have a much better way to do it. Let me know If you would like to make an email list or something for occasions like this one, though hopefully tech issues won’t come up again.
