Each week, we take a film from the book 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die, discuss it, analyze it, and ultimately decide whether or not it should be in the book. [itunes pic]
Adam and Ian have been doing this show for almost two years and are just now FINALLY having their wives on the show. This week we start with Adam’s wife and co-host of the “Below Freezing” podcast, Melissa St. John, as they discuss the film of her choosing: the 1952 Gene Kelly classic “Singin’ in the Rain.” During the episode, Ian and Melissa hash out their “West Side Story” feud, Adam and Ian continue mining their hatred of “The Quiet Man”, and everyone marvels at how awesome Donald O’Connor is. Also, this week Melissa recommends “The Music Man” (available on DirecTV), Ian recommends “Across the Universe” (available on Hoopla), and Adam recommends “Chicago” (available on Showtime). Intro/Outro music is “Bouncy Gypsy Beats” by John Bartmann.
