Gaming On The Rocks

We are a group of friends meeting around an actual table, enjoying some adult beverages and telling some shared stories. Dice roll every Friday so take a seat at the table and join us.

Just shy of 4 years ago we started recording our table for release of a TTRPG Actual Play Podcast. During the years we managed to release 200 of these episodes, those an odd baker dozen or two ended up being scrapped… that first season was rough and full of lots of learning. It has been a lot of hard work and with that hard work comes burn out. Our table has reached a point that is unsustainable and have decided to end the show.

We reached a point that many never really get close to with this 200th episode. It was a nice big even number that timed well with us not finding anymore spoons available. Those that gave us a chance over the years thank you deeply from our hearts. Seeing that a small group continued to listen to us week after week helped us along.

Our Twitter handle, @GamingOnTheRocs, will still be used a bit by me for some time. It is a nice place for connecting and following some of those in the TTRPG community that I keep separated from my personal Twitter timeline. Also, our Discord server will stick around as it has become our hub for group communication. It will just be getting some restructuring to prune some dead weight.

With this goodbye we want to remind you all to stay safe out there, we hopefully will see you around and may all your Crits fall in Your favor.
