We are Emily (she/her) and Alex (he/his), married American expats living abroad. One day we realized we didn’t crave the same things in life that everyone around us seemed to want. We were unhappy trudging toward some perceived security and decided to do something to change it. So, in 2021, we sold our house, cars, and almost everything we owned and became location independent. We are now full-time international slow travelers negotiating how to live the dream and a regular life at the same time.
