Friends on the Map

4 years ago, I packed everything I could fit in my bright orange suitcase, took out all of my savings from the bank, left my hometown, and set out to the great unknown. I had a general plan of what I wanted to do when I came to Malaysia but I wasn’t sure if it was going to work out. Fast forward to the present, stuck at home because of the pandemic I thought about my journey and stories I would love to tell. More so, I thought about the people I know who, like me, took their own leaps of faith in leaving their hometown to discover the big world. They also have great stories to tell.
