DC: Dear Canada is an audio postcard series that follows the journey of The Tale of a Town’s storymobile as it crosses the country to capture the collective community memory of our main streets, one story at a time, leading up to Canada’s 150th anniversary in 2017. Featuring uniquely local voices from towns and big cities across each province and territory, each postcard will reveal a telling tale about Canada’s disappearing downtown culture. Hosts Charles Ketchabaw and Lisa Marie DiLiberto mix the most compelling interviews gathered as part of their national oral history project with inquisitive commentary addressed to listeners across the country. AWDMS: A Walk Down Main Street is a long form podcast series that takes a deeper look at the characters and tales at the heart of Ontario’s downtown neighbourhoods.
