The New Agora

The New Agora

by

Help us create The New Agora, in Edinburgh, the Athens of the North. The Agora was a site at which the Ancient Greeks gathered to discuss and debate all matters of life and exchange ideas. Edinburgh was given the title “Athens of the North” and the successor to Athens. However, we believe there is more to be done for Edinburgh to truly claim that title. With this project, we hope to realise the title of “Athens of the North” by encouraging a sense of community and serving as a platform for debate, discussion, and the exploration of ideas with the vast array of people in Edinburgh and beyond.
