In this episode we’re exploring a new format which we hope you’ll enjoy. We’ve had 2 years of 1:1 podcast interviews and spoken to over 50 amazing conservationists about their careers, the industry and shared their advice. We love it and will continue to do this.
However, through the podcast we’ve often felt the need for some topics to go deeper into the discussion – there’s lots more to say, and we’re just scratching the surface. We wanted to share our advice more, and to hear from other key figures in the wildlife careers space. So that’s what we’re going to try and do in this pilot episode.
We’re going to pick a topic of interest to discuss in detail and to help me we’ve assembled a super team of wildlife career gurus, who have kindly agreed to share their thoughts, experience and advice. And if you’re a fan of the podcast, you’ll already know them.
First up is Dr Fernando Mateos-González of Bioblogía, or Nando as he’s often known. Nando is fond of knowledge, advice and inspiration for people seeking careers in conservation biology.
Making up this career-supergroup is Dr Stephanie Schuttler from the world of Fancy Scientist. Stephanie is an unconventional wildlife biologist, entrepreneur, and careers adviser who has spent nearly two decades studying all over the world.
