Prison is like a 3rd world in our backyards, visible at any barbed wire-lined facility. Yet, there’s a more insidious, invisible 3rd world in our neighborhoods, schools, and jobs, everywhere. Inspired by rediscovered journals from incarceration, the “Letters from America’s 3rd World” podcast shares narratives from current and formerly incarcerated people, offering novel insights into America’s hidden 3rd world.
