Whether you deem them two attempted scholars, two best friends with a lot of disagreements, or two co-workers who like to get a little too insightful, Alexia Flores and Gabriell Padua bring you The Other Two Podcast in order to dive into possible meanings of various bodies of work. Be it books, television, movies, or music, they not only look at serious bodies of work, they also attempt to look for meaning in not-so-popular material to prove that the limits of finding meaning are truly tested here.
Hitting off a two part series, Gabe and Alexia dig into the newly-arrived television series A League of Their Own, a spin-off of the 1992 movie that opens up conversations of queer and racial experiences within the AAGPBL. The conversations start on the reflection of what it takes to be authentically oneself in a world where one must hide their sexuality and extend to breaking down the social expectations one must either adhere to or break away from.
