It’s Your Thing is a local radio show on WFNU Frogtown Radio 94.1FM in St. Paul, MN and podcast where artists and creators of all kinds, big and small tell you the story behind their creativity and having the courage to build a life of their own. Each episode features a different artist where they break down when creativity began for them, how they cultivated it, what their inspirations are, and the impact they would like to have on the world with their work. Hosted and produced by Renee Steward and WFNU Frogtown Radio 94.1FM.
In this episode, Renee interviews St. Paul artist Xee Reiter. Xee is an insanely creative human whose specialties include public art, murals, sketchbook art, sewing, and creating tiny things. She has been creating art for as long as he can remember and has used her creativity to honor her heritage as a means to connect to the bigger world. This is a great episode that goes into Xee’s personal stories around being a creative person, balance, and connecting with her art as a bilingual Hmong-American.
