Clint breaks down the history of marriage dating back over 4,000 years and traces it’s evolution from a pragmatic union based on pragmatic societal needs that inherently treated women as sexual property to modern day in which marriage is based on love and mutual sexual attraction. They discuss the church’s involvement, women’s rights, divorce, gay marriage, arranged marriages and a bunch of interesting statistics about marriage from around the world.
