These little-known golden age programs are among the least popular and most complained about in the history of the Great Detectives of Old TIme Radio. But are these programs bad or merely misunderstood? You decide. Listeners ratioed all these programs. Detectives like Mike Hammer, Steve Strong, and the Man from Homicide were considered far too hard boiled and rough. Reporter Chuck Morgan was viewed as arrogant and obnoxious for constantly calling his secretary/girlfriend “Glamourpuss.” And Mrs. Collins was far too jealous for many listeners’ tastes. Whether you want to listen because one of these programs sound like you’d like it (even if it’s in a so bad, it’s good way), or if you just want to listen to something you’ll hate so you can complain about it to your friends, host Adam Graham will be your guide for every delightful and/or excruciating listening moment.
