An orphaned monster and his human embark on a search for his family in this family-friendly comedy about best friends doing kind things for strangers. — Meet Riley and Render. Roommates. Best friends. There’s just one small hitch. Riley is a young, career-focused woman with a little bit of burnout and Render… well, he’s a monster. When Render admits feelings of sadness over not knowing who he is or where he comes from, Riley makes a bold choice: find his family, whatever the cost. Have Monster, Will Travel: they’re just two best friends on the adventure of a lifetime.

A heavy rainstorm and a near-miss collision land the 1996 GMC Safari in a patch of deep mud. Unable to move forward, Riley, Render and the Taiwan 1000 must devise a way to dislodge the van.

But something else has its eyes on the Safari, and it too wants to leave.
