It’s All Happening Right Now

It’s All Happening Right Now is an ode to the classic DJ mix tapes of the 1990’s. 30 minutes each side, rather than the now standard hour or more mix session. The DJ needed to communicate a cohesive, yet short set that was designed to grab the listeners attention. A mix of house music classics, burners and bootlegs. Nick’s unique style of house music was instrumental in defining the sound of the Minneapolis club and underground house scene for over two decades. Nick started his career as a DJ in the late 90s, influenced by the Chicago hot mix style of dj’ing on B96 FM. In the early 2000s he spearheaded the Black club series at the First Avenue VIP Room, hosting exclusive events that brought world class house music to the Twin Cities. Nick’s signature sound draws from a wide range of influences, including French house, Chicago house, New York vocal house anthems and bootlegs. He has often been praised for his ability to blend nostalgic classics with contemporary bangers.
