How to make a collective podcast in Zambia? Tuning-In: Other Ways of Seeing is a collective podcast created by artists who participated in a10-day collaborative workshophosted by the Livingstone Office for Contemporary Art (LoCa), Zambia. Facilitated by artists Anawana Haloba and Romeo Gongora, the workshop explored alternative and Indigenous ways of rethinking Zambian contemporary life, while learning how to conceptualize, make and broadcast a podcast. The result is an audio journey that contemplates Indigenous knowledge, Zambian swag, cultural change, beer, proverbs and the challenges of inclusion. The workshop Tuning-In: Other Ways of Seeing is part ofAlternative Knowledge, a one-year programme of research at the Livingstone Office for Contemporary Arts (LoCA), centered on experimental workshops, discursive platforms, lectures, screening and pop-up shows with international guest artists. Alternative Knowledge seeks to deconstruct paradigms that have driven the ways of representing the arts in Livingstone’s local art scene. For more information, please contact: www.locazm.com
