I could write books about shooting network television news for shows like NBC Nightly News, CBS Evening News, World News Tonight, network morning shows, and and for 60 Minutes to name a few. I was a trusted freelance cameraman and I made a full-time living for many years working for whichever network called me first. So, why ‘The Most Exclusive Club’? There were trusted freelances near network bureaus. No matter where I went, I would see the same people. I said “We must belong to the most exclusive club! I mean, our meetings are never pre-announced for time and place, yet we all show up!
