Bob lets us in on the story behind the starting of Kort Builders. From mowing lawns and painting houses in his teens his entrepreneurial spirit has always been a driver of his success. Studying business at Indiana University and keeping his Phi Kappa Psi fraternity brothers busy in the summers, Kort Builders was formed and grew from residential to commercial construction projects.
Bob is a big believer in relationships and doing the right thing in business and life saying “If you do the right thing and care more about them and what you’re doing for them. Then they will keep calling you back and get repeat business and the rest will take care of itself.”
Bob recommends frequenting any of the District Tap locations, Cholita Taqueria in Broad Ripple and soon to come The Quarters in Broad Ripple
Bob’s favorite book is: The Lazy CEO by Jim Schleckser. As I researched this book, I’ve found that Jim Schleckser has a podcast called The Lazy CEO as well. Will need to try that one as well.
