Breadcrumbs – Stories About the Paths We Take

The team at Building Momentum has done a LOT of different things over the past few years: We created 34 different prototypes during the height of the Pandemic, We built an entire community education platform, We taught over 3000 active duty service members in ALL branches of the military, and, we made a podcast. We went out and searched for some of the most interesting people we knew and invited them on to talk with us. We laughed, we cried, we made something special that we were excited to share with the world… We recorded the bulk of these conversations in the fall of 2021 and spring of 2022. A lot has changed since then, my children are older, I’m older, and our company has grown in so many ways. I’m Allen Brooks, this is Build Mo, and this is our podcast, Breadcrumbs I’m the Chief Storytelling Officer at Building Momentum and we are a creative problem solving agency. Build Mo does so many things, building amazing tech, designing solutions to the biggest problems we come across, and teaching problem solving to Kids, Grownups, Executives, Service-Members – and much like the people we talk to on Breadcrumbs, we aren’t just one thing and we wanted a show that reflects our far reaching interests. At Building Momentum we love just siting down with people and asking them to tell us a bit of their story. This is where the most important connections come for us. It’s the first step in working together, is learning about who our clients are, and where they come from. Sometimes we end up working with them for a long time, and sometimes we find a lifelong friend. However it ends, it always starts by sitting down and talking. So it made sense that this show would be built on that same model. We thought a podcast would be an ideal platform to have these conversations and celebrate those who are following their true north.
