How does one write a play? What even is playwriting? The Playwright Repertory Podcast focuses on the art of storytelling through theatre. PRP hosts virtual readings of high school and college student written plays with an ensemble of student actors, followed by interviews and short feedback discussions with the playwright, amongst other shenanigans. Along with readings, Mitchell and Sarah further discuss story crafting and playwriting techniques, tips, and tricks.
In this week’s episode, we read Madison Osment’s play The Moon, my dearest. and talk to her about coming up with play ideas, the moon landing, and test everyone’s patience with Mitchell’s jokes.
// CAST: Jordan Spena as Arin, Bella Arnold as Lulana.
