What You Don’t Know Yet

You are not a great teacher. Yet. You will be. But not for a long while. Right now, you don’t know what you’re doing and it probably shows. You need some help. There’s a situation you could have handled differently. There’s some time wasted. You probably don’t feel like yourself and it’s exhausting. Yet, there will be a day when you will be a capable teacher with a toolbox of skills that you’ll be able to competently employ in a multitude of situations. There will be a time when people will look to you as an expert in the field of education. It hasn’t happened yet, but it will. This podcast is meant to help you find your way during those first few years of teaching. We’ll talk with experienced teachers to find practical ways for you to tackle the early part of your teaching career. We’ll give you some inspiration to keep you going. We’ll make it okay to make a few mistakes so that you can learn from them and become the teacher you want to be. Because you’re not a great teacher. YET.
