by

Brought to you by the Master of Science and PhD in Health Professions Education Programs at MGH Institute of Health Professions, Drs. Janice Palaganas and Peter Cahn discuss popular topics in faculty development and offer 3 tips for each episode. These are tips we found helpful in developing faculty. Dr. Palaganas is a mom, emergency nurse practitioner, past hospital administrator, simulationist, Associate Professor of Interprofessional Studies, and Associate Director of the Health Professions Education Program at MGH Institute of Health Professions. Dr. Cahn is a cultural anthropologist, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs, and Director and Professor in the Center for Interprofessional Studies and Innovation. He is passionate about integrating the humanities in all that he does. Together, and sometimes with expert interviews, they have provocative and candid conversations, exploring faculty development, teasing out tips that might be helpful for any educator–particularly in health professions education–through stories, debates, and laughs. Each podcast concludes with a short summary of the 3 tips for handy reference later.
