by Johnson C. Smith Univeristy's College of Arts and Letters
December 6, 2023 11:25 am
The uniquely focused Guangdong Baiyun University Center for American Race and Culture, established by Johnson C. Smith University and funded by a generous grant from the US Embassy in Beijing, will set the African American experience within historical and contemporary contexts through books, multimodal digital documents, streamed media, and faculty and student exchanges. A nuanced view of racial issues through physical and electronic resources will be provided to Chinese audiences to promote an understanding of America and provide a lens for self-examination and grassroots U.S.-Chinese engagement. These podcasts will be a central part of that effort, and we’re excited bring this podcast to you.
