This podcast delves deeper into the work that is being done in the visual space, whether by researchers, academics, practitioners, educators, activists, artists, or anyone interested in the visual, or visualities. We look at work published in the Visual Journal for Education and Pedagogy, and look for connections to real world issues, and how we can use new and innovative visual techniques to solve them.
Romaine Logere of the RMIT Media and Communications school in Melbourne joins us on the podcast to delve deeper into her paper ‘Diagrams of Intensity: Visualising the Sensibilities of Transdisciplinary Practice’, published in the video Journal of Education and Pedagogy. In this episode we discuss methodological potentialities in transdiciplinary practice, way to use visuality to illustrate non-verbal experiences of group ideation, and birthdays.
